Xibaipo, the last stop by Central Committee of CPC prior to the founding of People's Republic of China, is located in Pingshan County, east of Taihang Mountain, with Baipoling on the back and Hutuo River on the front. The Central Committee of CPC led by Mao Zedong, has commanded the grand “Three Campaigns”. The second plenary session of the seventh Central Committee of Communist Party of China is held here, fulfilling the task of founding new China. In 1949 the People's Republic of China walked out of Xibaipo. In 2006, Xibaipo received 897 thousand international visitors, earning US $27.85 million, and 17.53 million domestic visitors, with revenue of RMB ￥8 billion.
